Trying Something New

After spending a lot of time perusing the archives of a few fantastic personal style blogs, I’ve decided to try something new and start my own little corner of the internet for sharing my fashion musings. I don’t claim to be an expert on the subject; rather I am using this space to learn how to best dress myself in a professional way (well, most of the time).

To let you get to know me better, I’ll provide you with a bit of background. My name is Caroline, and I just recently moved back to my hometown in Alabama. I have a master’s in nutrition, and I am just beginning a dietetic internship as I start this blog (which is no coincidence–I need to learn how to dress appropriately for work!). As you might surmise from my career choice, I have a deep passion for maintaining a healthy lifestyle through food and fitness. In fact, I have been writing about such topics for more than five years on my other blog, The Broccoli Hut.

My taste in clothing is quite similar to my taste in food–colorful! I love bright, saturated hues, particularly when polka dots, stripes, or gingham is involved. Ruffles and bows also make occasional appearances in my daily outfits. So basically, I’m a little preppy, a little classic, and a little girly.

Thanks for reading, and I look forward to what my fashion future may hold!
