what i wore this week: september 9

I didn’t manage to get many outfits up on the blog this week, but I thought I would show you several of my ensembles from the past several days in a different format. If this is a feature that you all enjoy, maybe I’ll make it a weekly occurrence!

Monday

Mondays are class days for me, meaning I don’t have rotations in the hospital or outpatient clinics. I usually run all my necessary errands on Mondays (like grocery shopping!), so my outfits are pretty casual on these days. I think the shorts might have been a little too casual for class last week, so I’m planning on wearing something a little dressier this week.

I spent the day on Thursday at an outpatient clinic. I had the opportunity to do several nutrition consultations, so I wanted to look as professional as possible but still comfortable. The end result was a little boring, which is why I didn’t do a blog post about it.

Saturday

Yesterday was an important game for the Alabama Crimson Tide! We got together with some friends to watch the game, so I showed my team spirit with some red, black, and white. Technically, houndstooth is the trademark Alabama pattern, but I figured the gingham shorts were good enough πŸ™‚

I will be spending this week in an outpatient setting again…and lab coats are required again. Oh well–just another reason to wear cute shoes.

Have a great week, everyone!
