A few months ago, I came across a herringbone blazer at Goodwill that happened to fit me well. It’s finally cold enough to wear a jacket (at least in the morning), so I excitedly built today’s outfit around that herringbone blazer. As it turns out, the resulting ensemble is not as cohesive as I would like, but gosh darn it, I just really wanted to wear that blazer!

I’m thinking next time it would look best with some slim-fitting pants and riding boots. Live and learn!

I think of herringbone as a pattern from menswear, so I tried to feminize it a bit by wearing my stone shower necklace.

herringbone blazer {thrifted Benetton}, $4 similar

green crew-neck tee {Old Navy}, $4

black boot-cut pants {Old Navy}, $17

leopard pumps {Target}, $15 similar

stone shower necklace {Target}, $10 similar

How would you wear a herringbone blazer?
