brave enough for leopard

I’m always a little cautious with wearing leopard to the hospital. I always like to “test the waters” a bit and see what my preceptor is like prior to wearing a leopard item–call me crazy, but I feel like some people might think it’s a little wild for the healthcare setting. I’ve now been in my current rotation long enough that I knew it would be acceptable to wear some toned-down animal print underneath my lab coat. I didn’t get any dirty looks or stares of disbelief, so that’s a good sign!

It’s a good thing I was able to wear this leopard top, as I’ve been excited about incorporating it into my outfits ever since I bought it from ThredUp (←click for $10 off your first order!) a few weeks ago.

I kept the outfit work appropriate by sticking to the brown color palette and adding just a few hints of gold and maroon.

Fun fact: I was holding my breath in this picture–it was so cold this morning that it would have shown up in the photo! I ran inside and put my coat on immediately after this shot 🙂

How do you feel about wearing animal prints in the workplace?
