an old favorite

Although it happens much less frequently now that I have this blog, I do have favorite outfits that I wear over and over again. Sometimes, I just like the way they look, or perhaps it’s comfy, or maybe it reminds me of a fond memory. This outfit is often repeated for all three of these reasons. I wore it for my 24th birthday celebration a few years ago:

The whole outfit still remains in my closet, so I decided to wear it again for date night recently.

The only new (ish)  items added to this outfit were the booties and the earrings.

Next time I might use red or pink as the accent color  🙂

black bow detail tee {Gap}, old similar

leopard skirt {New York & Company}, old similar

black booties {Impo via Macy’s}, $30

yellow + gold bangle {Target}, $10 similar

gold ball stud earrings {Target}, part of a $10 set

What are some of your favorite outfits?

  1. Hey if it ain’t broke, why fix it? You still look 24 by the way and would have guessed that was your age. That Skirt is Beautiful. I have a very similar tee so this is definitely inspiring. I think Black Pumps or Booties would look even hotter, especially with the Black Tights.

Thank you for stopping by my blog as well. Please support me by following via Bloglovin or GFC. Do you have either?

I would love to hear your thoughts on my latest post where I remixed my new Black+White Graphic Pants. Please let me know what you think. =) Thank you. Enjoy your weekend! Ada. =)

  2. I still have mad love for that skirt, Caroline! I think it looks sharp with all black, but you’re right that pink or red as an accent would be cute, too! I occasionally repeat outfits as well, especially when I’m super busy and don’t have a lot of time to brainstorm new ideas 🙂
