the old navy ad

Whenever I wear a puffer vest, my husband’s first reaction is always, “You look like a walking Old Navy ad!” I’m not sure if he means that as a compliment or not, but I’ll try not to overanalyze it.

As it so happens, this outfit has only one piece that came from Old Navy, thank you very much.

Seth was outside while I was taking outfit photos and just couldn’t resist photo-bombing…

I guess I’m on a neutral kick (for like, the first time ever)–this is the second all black + white outfit I’ve put together just this week!

  1. that is a great vest, caroline! i’ve definitely been drawn more to those “flatter” quilted type vests than the really puffy frost-free vests you see at old navy, so this one definitely caught my eye. i just haven’t been able to find a similar one yet. i love your husband’s jacket as well!

    • I know exactly what you mean! I have a pink puffer vest that I think I might have stolen from my sister’s closet in high school, and it’s like the ones you describe–VERY puffy and not at all flattering on me. Good luck finding a less puffy one–Sears might still have some like the one I’m wearing in stores, but they’re sold out online.
