the gray blazer

I’ve been trying to find a comfy gray blazer for a while now–ever since I saw how many cute ways Whitney styled hers. I found one I liked at TJ Maxx several weeks ago (maybe even before Thanksgiving?), but it was more expensive than I would have liked, so I let it go.

I returned to the same store just a few days ago looking for some housewares and happened upon the same blazer–marked down to $20! I considered it a sign, so I bought it. Here’s hoping that I’ll get good use out of it!

Yesterday was a day off for me, so I wanted to wear something other than my usual dress pants + cardigan + flats combination. I decided to bust out the new blazer.

Vivid pink + gray is definitely a favorite color combination of mine, so I really like the way this outfit turned out.

This pearl cluster necklace is also something I’ve been eyeing since before the holidays. I snagged the last one at the LOFT Outlet during their after-Christmas sale. I love it!

pink gingham button-up {JC Penney}, $20 similar

gray ponte blazer {Cynthia Rowley via TJ Maxx}, $20 similar

boot-cut jeans {LOFT}, old similar

pearl cluster necklace {LOFT Outlet}, $12 similar

tweed wedges {Blowfish Malibu}, gift similar

What was the last bargain you scored?
