lace + bows

I’ve been participating in the April Style Challenge, and today’s theme was “Dupe of a Deal.” I decided to wear my Loft Outlet cardigan that looks almost identical to one from J.Crew. It was a gift, so I don’t know the exact price, but I can bet you that my mom got a bargain 🙂

Come to think of it, my watch is a also a “dupe of a deal”–it looks very similar to the Kate Spade version, but this one cost just over ten dollars.

Judging by the title, this outfit sounds over-the-top girly, but I think the neutral colors tone the fru-fru factor down a bit.

bow cardigan {Loft Outlet}, gift similar

black lace tee {Wal-Mart}, $9

black dress pants {Banana Republic Factory}, $18 similar

black patent leather wedges {CL by Laundry via DSW}, $35

bow watch {New York + Company}, $12 similar

What was your last “dupe of a deal?”

  1. it seems like there are so many “dupes” that can be found these days at less expensive stores but look so similar to their more expensive counterparts. that is such a cute cardigan!

  2. I really like this outfit, Caroline. The all neutrals are super chic and I like the lace and bows together. It is kind of reminiscent of what I’d imagine a modern day Audrey Hepburn would dress like 🙂
