At one point today, I looked down and noticed that my shirt, lunch bag, umbrella, and phone case were all polka-dotted. Too much? Never. To paraphrase  Oscar Wilde, one can never be over-polka-dotted or overeducated!

This shirt was a ThredUp find, and while I love the colors and pattern, I’m still undecided on the cut up the shirt. From these photos, it appears to be too short and unflattering. There’s an elastic band at the bottom that I would prefer weren’t there…maybe I can remove it somehow?

I love the little hint of “radiant orchid” when you look at the pattern more closely. Definitely a unique color combination, in my opinion.

  1. You’re so cute! I am obsessed with polka dots too. There can never be too many of them! I want to see you in some skirts to show off those stems! 😉 I feel like you could definitely rock a pencil skirt to work!

  2. this is such a pretty top, caroline, and a great color on you! i struggle with tops that have an elastic band along the bottom hem too — i’ve never quite understood the point of that, and at least on my body it doesn’t really keep the top in place, it almost makes it inch up throughout the day. i would see if there is a way to remove that elastic and finish off the hem because this top should definitely stay in your closet!
