olive + cognac

It has been unseasonably cool here in Alabama lately such that it was 66 degrees on my run this morning. It was glorious, I tell you. My enjoyment may or may not have been enhanced by an Nsync-centric soundtrack…

Anyway, I think that the cooler temperatures have made me crave fall just a little bit (gasp!), and that is reflected in my color palette choice for today’s outfit: olive + cognac.

I’m not sure if my choice of top was the right one, but I knew I wanted to wear something in the ivory color family and didn’t want to wear the same old lace top again. I’ll call the polka dots “whimsical” instead of “mismatched.”

For no other reason than laziness, I rarely show you the purses I wear with my outfits. This cognac one gets regular use, as does a white vegan leather one I received as a gift.
