springtime in september

Oh floral tee, why can’t I quit you?

The season for florals may be ending, but I’m not ready to put away my floral tee just yet. I’ve worn this tee several different ways thus far, but until today I hadn’t tried dressing it up with a skirt.

I decided to play up the pink in this outfit by adding a coordinating cardigan. Add a string of pearls, and I could almost pass for a grown-up!

black pencil skirt {thrifted Merona}, $4 similar

black scallop-edge kitten heels {MIA}, gift similar

Do you think florals are appropriate only for spring and summer?

    • Thanks so much, Brynn! I love my scalloped shoes too, but they really need the heels to be replaced. I wore them during the “epic” snow storm last year, so they’ve had some pretty hard wear!

  1. I agree with Brynn– this may be one of my favorite outfits of yours! I can wear floral in small doses (tee, scarf) off season, but not head to toe. Otherwise yes to florals.

  3. Wow, look at those calf muscles! Ha. Love this outfit–that floral tee really is quite versatile! I wish I had one…I’ll be keeping my eye out for something similar (maybe not florals since it’s fall now).
