navy, leopard, + burgundy

I’ve been on the hunt for a navy dress for quite some time now. That shouldn’t be too hard to find, right? Wrong. Maybe I’m just getting annoyingling picky more selective with my clothing purchases, but I had quite a time of finding a navy dress to suit my needs. I wanted something comfortable, re-mixable, and, work-appropriate. That last criterion was the kicker–I tried on several dresses that were perfect…except they were too short.

At long last, I found this one at Target. It came just above the knee, and even better it was eligible for a Cartwheel offer that gave me 25% off. A versatile dress for less than $20? Yes, please.

For its first wear, I paired the dress with my leopard scarf and another new purchase–my burgundy bag.

I kind of love this bag already. It’s really spacious, and I think it will complement all the navy and olive in my wardrobe quite nicely.

  1. I LOVE this outfit, Caroline! That dress is amazing, and I’m so happy you finally found one that fits your criteria! I am super picky about what I buy as well – I think blogging has helped with that 🙂 No more impulse buys!
