purple + polka dots

Don’t you just love when waiting for an item to go on sale really pays off? Allow me to explain.

So I’ve been on the hunt for more colorful pants and skirts lately, and I came across some hunter green and dark purple jeans at Loft Outlet several weeks ago. The trouble was, they were $60 each, which is way more than I was willing to pay. Fast forward to last Friday, and I found them on the clearance rack for just $15 each. YES!

Needless to say, I snatched up both pairs, and I immediately began planning outfits around them.

I’m a little disappointed that the color doesn’t show up very well in these pictures, but I assure you that these jeans are a lovely dark plum in person.

When was the last time you scored a bargain by waiting it out?

  1. They are a beautiful color on you! I can tell what a rich shade of purple they are! I can’t wait to see you in the green ones! I wish I had found those! I would love to add a couple more colored bottoms to my closet!

  2. Plum jeans have been on my wishlist for AGES but I have never been able to find a pair that I like or can afford. They’d go with just about everything in my closet, haha! I love how you wore these with your polka dot top, Caroline! 🙂
