blush + olive

Ever since I saw this post on Heidi’s blog, I’ve been quite infatuated with all things blush-colored. It’s not a color I would typically choose for my skin tone, as it pretty much just blends in with my complexion. But, as with most hues, I think it can look alright if paired with some complementary colors.

So that’s what I attempted today. For this first go-around I opted for olive, cognac, and blush as my color palette.

My lace top appears white in these pictures, but I promise it’s actually pale pink!

cognac faux leather jacket {New York + Company}, $45

olive pants {Faded Glory via Wal-Mart}, $11 similar

cognac wedges {Jessica Simpson via 6pm}, $25

What colors would you wear with blush pink?

  1. I really like the color combination going on here, Caroline. Blush doesn’t tend to look all that great on me either with my skin tone, but the color is just so pretty that I can’t resist! 😉 I love wearing blush with cream/white, black, chambray/denim, olive, even maroon!
