blush + olive (again)

DSC_6928I really love the color of this blush lace top in today’s outfit…but I seem to be in a rut as to how to style it. Much like the last time I wore it, this wear included some olive and cognac.

DSC_6925Considering how many belts I own, it’s pretty rare for me to wear them as they’re intended–you know, to actually hold up my pants. I had planned on belting the cardigan for this outfit, but with my recent (very minor) weight loss, my favorite jeans are a little loose, so I decided to wear the belt around my waistband instead.

DSC_6919olive cardigan: Jane, similar // blush lace top: Loft via Poshmark*, similar // dark wash straight jeans: Loft Outlet, similar // brown ankle boots: Jessica Simpson via Amazon, exact // gold watch: Fossil via Belk, exact // cognac belt: Merona via Target, similar

What color(s) would you wear with blush pink?

  1. Those Boots are fabulous. They look great with the jeans and the belt works in perfect with the jeans and boots. Hows the comfort on those boots? I kinda consider blush pink to be almost a neutral color that can go well with anything.

    • Thanks, Aidan! These boots are very comfortable considering their height. They’re not real leather, so they’re a bit stiffer than they would be otherwise. I’d recommend them though!

  2. Ooh, I’m really glad you decided to belt the jeans – it’s refreshing to see a belt used in that way instead of for defining a waistline, haha 🙂 I also really, really like the pink + olive combination here – they look great together! I wonder if this top would look good with black, gray, cream, or plum??
