casual red stripes

DSC_7250I’m always glad when Friday arrives, but I am particularly relieved this week. Let’st just say there was some mega-stress on Wednesday related to statistical software not cooperating. It’s all taken care of now though–TGIF!

DSC_7244I was pretty liberal with my interpretation of “casual Friday” today. Jeans, boots, vest, and done.

DSC_7258Now I need to go figure out what I’ll wear to my sisters’ joint baby shower tomorrow. Any suggestions?

red + white striped tee: J.Crew Factory, similar // red quilted vest: Crown + Ivy via Belk, similar // dark wash straight jeans: Loft Outlet, similar // brown ankle boots: Jessica Simpson via Amazon, exact // gold watch: Fossil via Belk, exact

  1. love this, caroline! i haven’t worn my cream vest like this much at all so this has inspired me to do so. i just love how cheery the red is and the matching stripes underneath! happy weekend!

  2. I’m guessing it’s too late and you’ve already found an outfit for your sister’s baby shower. I’m excited to see what you chose. I would’ve suggested a dress and a cardigan.

  4. What a fun, happy outfit, Caroline! I really like the top and vest separately, but when worn together, it’s even more fun!! You’re so cute! (And oh my gosh, I can’t get over how long your hair has gotten!!)

    • Thanks, Brynn! Both the vest and tee get a lot of wear–definitely winter wardrobe staples for me. I actually got a couple inches of hair cut off right before Christmas, but my hair seems to be on a mission to grow as fast as possible!
