black/white + shine

DSC_6889As I’ve mentioned before, my weekend attire is usually pretty casual…and by that, I mean zippers and buttons are notably absent. Stretchy pants, for the win!

DSC_6898 DSC_6896However, if Seth and I decide to have a date night, I do try to put a little more effort into my appearance. My look today is a great example of what I typically wear on such a date night: some sort of skinny pants, a comfy top, a little shine, and a pop of color.

DSC_6883On an unrelated note, the perfectionist in me is seriously bothered by the static-induced wrinkling of my top in these photos. I suppose I should have worn a cami underneath to counteract that? Argh.

What do you like to wear for date night?

  1. I love black and white with cobalt, what a great look! I have a few shirts that get static-y like that, and always have to wear a tank underneath or it drives me nuts.

    • I’m glad I’m not the only one who gets annoyed by things like that. I actually wear a cami underneath my shirts more often than not, but of course I decided not to on this day…

  3. Such a fun top! Like the above commenter, heidi, I wouldn’t have guessed it was Merona (although I do love Merona something fierce). Classy look perfected and glammed by the silver pumps and cobalt necklace!
