you can call me “professor”

DSC_7519Well, I can die happy now. Why, you ask? I have a blazer with elbow patches, that’s why. I’ve wanted a blazer with a “professorial” vibe for what seems like ages now, and thanks to “Santa,” I now have one. I mean, just look how excited I am:

DSC_7508“What’s that neighbor? Why yes, I am taking pictures of myself making weird faces. What’s your point?”

DSC_7531As much as I L-O-V-E this blazer, I am having trouble coming up with fun styling ideas. Any suggestions?

DSC_7550Also, before I go I want to mention my new photo taking location. Technically, it’s not new in that I actually took photos here way back in the early days of this blog. There’s an increased chance of canine photo-bombing in this setting, but I’m willing to risk it 🙂

  1. Aw, I’m so jealous. For the longest time I had a tweed blazer with elbow patches on my wishlist, but I finally gave up. I like the idea of pairing it with jewel tones, or something unexpected like a girly print dress.

    • The plaid on the jacket actually does have a deep red/wine in it, as well as dark green and mustard. I might try playing up those colors. I also like your idea of wearing it with a dress!
