remix it: the navy dress

You all are probably tired of me saying this, but I want the world to know: I love my navy ponte dress. It really is the perfect mix of comfort, versatility, functionality and style. Plus, it introduced me to the wonderful world of long-sleeved dresses (of which I now want to own several). It’s definitely turned out to be one of my wisest purchases of 2014, and it was only $20!

I’ve had a lot of fun styling this dress over the past four months. Here’s a look at past outfits:

I am apparently quite fond of the navy + cognac color combination, but it would easily work with other neutrals as well, like gray or white. Being able to layer shirts underneath the dress has opened up a slew of styling options. I think it works well due to the heavy weight of the ponte; lumps and bumps don’t show through quite as much. My next outfit with this dress will likely include some pastels–maybe mint or powder pink?

How would you wear a navy dress?

  1. I think it’s adorable how you’ve layered button up shirts underneath this dress – such a fun look! I personally love the way navy and mint look together, so I recommend trying that combination out this spring 🙂
