dress like a grown-up

DSC_0147This morning, my husband and I took a big step–we applied for a loan to buy our house. We’ve been renting our house since we moved in August of 2013, but we’re finally ready to pull the trigger and become homeowners. Eek! Does this make me an adult? Most of the time, I feel like I’m perpetually stuck at the age of fifteen.

DSC_0138Despite how young I may feel (and act…), I decided it would be a good idea to at least dress like a grown-up for our meeting with the mortgage broker this morning.

DSC_0157Pearls always make me feel a little more sophisticated!

What would you wear to feel more like a grown-up?

  1. congratulations on this awesome step, caroline! that’s awesome that you have the opportunity to buy the house you’ve been renting if you’ve decided you want to continue living there!

  2. So exciting, Caroline! I think it’s great that you and Seth have the opportunity to own the home you’re already living in – then you don’t have to actually move again, haha!
