emerald + white

DSC_0986Last fall, I was pretty excited about scoring a deal on the blouse I am wearing in today’s post. At the time, I felt like it was so “me”–it features my favorite colors and my beloved polka dots.

DSC_0983As it turns out, this is precisely the second time I’ve worn it in seven months. That’s not exactly what I imagined for cost per wear. I think it has been neglected because I feel like I can only wear navy or white bottoms with it, and white is only appropriate for certain times of year (theoretically).

Maybe I’ll be a bit more creative with how I wear it in the summer months. Otherwise, it might destined for my Poshmark closet!

  1. i thought you may be talking about this blouse after reading the title of this blog! what a bummer that you haven’t worn it as often as you anticipated. i definitely have many items (and quite a few from JCF) that fit that description in my closet. i still really love this blouse on you and am sad i missed out on it! if we were the same size i’d definitely buy it from you!

  3. Awww, I think this is a great top for you! This bright green is such a “Caroline” color 🙂 However, it’s frustrating when you don’t get as much wear out of something as you had originally envisioned. That, unfortunately, happens for me a lot with printed top (unless it’s stripes, haha). Weird!!!
