on strategic belting

DSC_2147The further along in this pregnancy I get, the more I’m having to adjust my belting strategy. My natural waist is no longer the narrowest part of my torso; in fact, my silhouette is even more boyish than usual. Kind of ironic, no? These days, I’m finding it much more comfortable to place belts somewhere between my belly button my my bust.

DSC_2142On a different note, I’m in a bit of a struggle zone when it comes to getting dressed. My options are already limited by my changing body shape, but add on top of that the extreme heat we’ve been having…I have no idea what to wear anymore. Drapey dresses are about the only thing that’s comfortable these days!

  1. Yeah for drappy dresses, you look great! I broke down and bought maternity stuff as soon asy pants got tight, I knew I wouldn’t be able to put it off the second the second time around.
