remix it: the white jeans

It took awhile, but I think I’ve finally embraced white jeans. My hesitation was really just a question of finding the right pair. I initially tried them out last year in my trusty Loft Modern Straight cut. They were alright, but I didn’t feel confident in them. Fast forward a year and a few pounds shed later, and the jeans were just too big. I tried again this year, this time trying Loft’s Modern Skinny cut. They seem to be a good fit (well, they were up until the whole pregnancy thing). I’ve had a lot of fun adding them into rotation over the fast couple months.

White is definitely one of my favorite neutrals…at least for spring and summer. I know there’s the whole “winter white” thing, but I haven’t worked up enough nerve to try that out just yet. White jeans are such a great way to make color pop–and hey, they go with pretty much anything in your closet. The only downside to white jeans around these parts is that they’re a little too heavy for the really hot days of summer, which is why I’ve tried to get as much use out of them as possible up to this point. That being said, in searching for shopping links for this post, I’ve discovered a few boyfriend fit pairs that I might need to try out…
