the reversible bag

DSC_2636First off, I must admit that this outfit was very much inspired by this one from Fran’s blog. I just wish I had bought that green pendant when I had the chance!

DSC_2624As for the bag in this outfit, it’s been about a year-long process before I decided to buy it. I’ve always really liked the Madewell transport tote, but I can’t really justify that much money for a bag at this point in my life. So I kept my eye out for something similar in a lower price range.

I saw this one on Target’s website a few weeks ago, and I thought it was worth a shot for just $30 (on sale). When it came, it was clear it was not a winner. It smelled funky, had a mysterious sticky pink mark on it, and the cognac was almost orange. RETURN. So I’m trying out this one that Audrey seems to like from Nordstrom. It’s a bit more expensive but definitely more along the lines of what I was looking for!

  1. I really like the idea of a reversible bag, but I hunk the bottom would get so worn out. I always have random crumbs and fruit snacks in the bottom of my purse #momproblems
