remix it: the red jeans

If you’ve been reading this blog anytime within the past year or so, you might have picked up on the fact that I am a big fan of colored jeans. So when I saw that Anne is hosting a #momstyle remix linkup this month, I knew I would have plenty of looks to draw from. I contemplated aggregating all my colored jeans looks…but that would require a pretty ginormous collage. So instead, I’ll focus on one of my favorite pairs of colored jeans–my classic red pair.

I’ve always been a fan of red–there was a phase during college when I pretty much wore only red tees and blouses every day. These days, I try to be a bit more moderate in expressing my enthusiasm for the color, but I still love it. These pants are one of the easiest and most fun pieces to re-mix in my whole closet–they can be casual or dressy, they pair well with both black and brown, oh, and they’re comfy to boot. Accordingly, these jeans have lots more wear left in them, and I plan on drawing on this pin for future inspiration.

How would you wear a pair of red jeans?

Linking up with Anne and Jenn for #momstyleremix!

  1. These red jeans are fabulous! I love how much outfit variety you get out of them too – one might think that a bright colored pant isn’t super versatile, but you really have a range of things going here, and it doesn’t at all look like you’re wearing the same thing over and over. Hard to pick, but I think the leather jacket might be my favorite look – I like how the tone of the jacket looks with the red. Somehow I don’t really have any colored bottoms in my closet any more, but this is making me want to change that! Thanks so much for joining in 🙂

  2. I love your looks! You really show how a pair of bright colored jeans can go such a long way, with lots of possibilities. I like all the different feels of the outfits – the first one says “date night” to me, while the second one is so glam, with a little edge! Love the brown + red combo. And then you kind of have a weekend, then work week kind of combo going on in the next two pics. Great job!
