stumped

DSC_8211Although I try to buy clothing items that can be remixed easily, occasionally I do buy something just because it makes me happy. Case in point: this patterned gray top.

DSC_8203There isn’t much gray in my closet, and I really liked the “deco” print on this tee, so I figured that was sufficient justification when I bought it last December. The trouble is, I’ve found it a bit difficult to style since it arrived. Pairing it with black pants is about all I can think of at this point. How would you wear this top?

  1. That’s a very cute top! I hate it when I purchase something with several outfits in mind but for whatever reason they don’t work out. You could try pairing your top with a black skirt, white pants, or even shorts in the warmer months. I look forward to seeing new outfits you try 🙂

  2. Basics are good, but you need clothes that catch your eye too! That top is adorable! Any colored bottom would work well with it! I bet a purple, pink, cobalt, or blush colored bottoms would be cute!

  3. I would pair it with your burgundy pants! I just wore a grey poncho/sweater with my burgundy pants and thought the colors looked so swell together. I’d also think about a pair of jeans (possibly boyfriend fit if you have any) and layering a longsleeve shirt underneath.
